A bad workman always blames his tools
Herein are described my bicycle and some other equipment I will carry with me, to demonstrate to you all how wonderfully well prepared I am.
The bicycle I will be using is the Gary Fisher Kaitai first bought when I started work with WS Atkins in October 1999. I was barely off this bike for the first six months, commuting the 15 mile round trip to Epsom on it 5 days a week and changing the tyres so as to ride it up on the North Downs on weekends. To the right is a picture of me on the Kaitai taken at Hound Tor on Dartmoor during summer 2001.
